Youngblood Autumn/Winter make-up look

Oct 29, 2015

  • Start by cleansing, toning & moisturising your face. If you need to update your current skin care routine, book an Express Facial with our Beauty Therapist, Jadee. I recommend Rose Foaming Face Wash, Minerals in the Mist; Restore, Eye Impact, Green Tea & Rose Face Serum and Rose & Apricot Anti-Oxidant Day Creme.
  • After letting the moisturiser sink into your skin apply Youngblood’s Pressed Mineral Rice Setting Power as a primer, with the Super Powder Brush, to help foundation and concealer sit nicely and stay in place all day.
  • Apply Loose Mineral Foundation, I mixed Honey and Tawnee to match my skin tone, use the Ultimate Foundation Brush or for a lighter coverage try the Large Kabuki Brush instead.
  • Using the Concealer Brush apply Ultimate Concealer (I used Tan) under eyes and to cover any spots and blemishes. Then lightly contour under your cheek bones, jaw line, the sides of your nose and temples with Pressed Mineral Foundation (I used Coffee) using the Contour Blush Brush. With the same brush apply Pressed Mineral Blush, (I’ve used Nectar) to the apples of your cheeks. To complete this part of the look set the make-up using the Hi-Definition Powder in Translucent with the Super Powder Brush.
  • Moving onto the eyes. Using the Eye-shadow Brush sweep Quartz from the Eye-shadow Quad in Eternity across the lid.
  • Then use the Fine Liner Brush with Incredible Wear Gel Liner in Midnight Sea to draw a line starting off quite thin and gradually getting thicker as you reach the outside of the eyelid.  If you’re feeling adventurous you can add a flick at the end. If you’d like some help learning how to do this, you can book an appointment with myself or Jadee and we can show to how!
  • Take Mascara in Blackout and apply this to your eyelashes and to finish off your eyes with the Brow Artiste Pallet (I’ve used Dark here). Use the darker colour to line the bottom of your brows and the lighter colour to fill them in, this gives them a little dimension. Then used the wax to set them.
  • Last but not least, line your lips with the Lip Liner (I used Plum) and apply lipstick (I chose Coral Beach) using the Lip Brush over the top.
